California University Preparatory School
California University Preparatory offers flexible programs that allow students to earn both high school and college credits while taking AP and honors courses. The school also provides an ESL program for international students who are working toward a U.S. high school diploma while strengthening their English skills. Through Hybrid and Independent Studies, students can learn at their own pace, take classes at their level, graduate early, or combine different programs to fit their goals.
Our students come from many backgrounds—including gifted learners, international students, and local students—creating a diverse and supportive community. In our smaller program setting, students learn alongside one another, sharing perspectives and supporting each other’s growth. Rather than fitting students into a single path, California University Preparatory designs programs around each student’s needs, helping every student find success and reach their full potential.

The Junior High Program builds a strong academic foundation while developing curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking. Students learn to ask questions, participate in discussions, and analyze ideas while studying core subjects such as reading, writing, math, science, and history. Small classes allow teachers to support each student’s growth and prepare them for high school.

The College–High School Program at California Prep University allows students to enroll in college courses that count for both high school and college credit. Through this dual-credit model, students complete high school requirements while taking college classes, allowing many to graduate in three years while also earning progress toward an Associate of Arts (AA) degree.

The English Learning Program The English High School at California Prep University helps students improve their English skills while earning high school credits. The program focuses on reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension so students can build confidence in English while progressing toward their high school diploma.

The Independent Hybrid Program at California Prep University allows students to complete high school coursework while also enrolling in college-level classes. The program combines independent online learning with teacher guidance and real-world projects, giving students the flexibility to advance at their own pace while preparing for college and future careers.
